D' Musing Thoughts...

I made a  sudden trip to India .I was in Chennai and there were so much of changes since the lastI visit in 2008 and 2002. They have better roads and more organized traffic but pollution is no better. Beside that more malls and food outlets everywhere. Mcdonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut, Papa Jones, Dominoes all catering to Indian taste. KFC and McDonald have a menu for vegetarians. Cool !!! I notice Indian people have learnt to eat more varieties than idli and dosa's and also iced coffee's.

I REFER to “ Marriages are not made in heaven ” ( The Star , May 14). The saying is: Marriages are decided in heaven and made on Earth, meaning God planned the partners and the marriage is done on earth by man. In the old days, marriages were fixed by parents who chose the partners, arranged the dates etc. Back then, people used to get married in the early 20s. Their joint earnings were enough for house, a car loan and enough to bring up their kids. Maybe this was because it was much cheaper then. It is important to look into the disadvantages of delayed marriages. Today, youngsters are too independent and parents have little or no say in their children’s marriage. The youths today prefer to enjoy life free of entanglement and give excuses such as financial problems. As the letter writer rightly pointed out, this could end up with them remaining single. I was handling a very nice user today, as I was helping him with his issues he was talking about my whereabouts and told me Malaysia has a wonderful weather and it's a beautiful country. He was mentioning that in UK it is raining every day nowdays. He said there is a saying “April Showers” and this is expected to be a wet weather normally during April. I managed to resolve his issue and he ended his call with some beautiful words which actually made my day. He said, “I really appreciated your help in resolving this issue quickly and this will not trouble me for next few months and have a wonderful beautiful day dear Thank you sooo much." What else could I ask, my Monday Blues were much beautiful Monday :)
