Super Moon 2016

 This year there were couple of astronomical events of the moon and meteor showers. Best of all is the Super moon on the 14th November 2016.

It was a great hype in the social media as everyone were only posting and sharing about the super moon occurrence for this year and the next of this such event will take place after 18 years.

So the hype was on and everyone were anxious to capture their best shot of the year, but unfortunately in Malaysia the weather was not to our favour as it was the monsoon month and we had rains every morning and evenings.

So due to the great weather, the moon was hidden ever since the peak time of viewing and raised lots disappointments for many who were ready with their gears to capture the moment.

 As like others, I also got my baby (Canon 60D) ready for the moment and obviously the moon was too shy.

But it didn't disappoint me much as the moon will be up later so I waited. The below is the picture as I got of the moon somehow to mark this day. 

After past midnight, I saw the sky was lighted brightly, and obviously the moon was out and I had a chance.

It wasn't easy to take a clear shot without a tripod. I hand held my camera and had to control my stability to get a clear focus, settings of the brightness and everything correctly.

these are the moons in my memory cards till I had the best of them all.

End of the day I managed to accomplished something on this super moon and am happy about it.

 Everyone would have been eager to get a picture of the moon in their lens but nothing like look at the moon and admiring the wonder of God with my own eyes.

It was a beautiful sight and sometimes, best memories are captured by my eyes rather than the camera lens.
It's unexplained when the eyes sees the beauty of what sometimes the lens fails to show ~Vicky~
