Happy New Year 2017

Ushered New Year with family as usual and this time we celebrated by not watching fireworks. Indeed we celebrated with strangers in a restaurant. It was fun to wish everyone of them in the restaurant , we had lots of fun and good food. We took lots of pictures that were so memorable too.

Sometime and every time, New Year seems to be different for me. So coming to the usual question of what is your resolution for this year.

I have not had any resolution every year either it would not be accomplished or never was accomplished. So every year for me is to do something new that is not in any of my checklist or try to accomplish something that has been pending for something.

For this year, I thought of something to do with myself and start focusing on something I like to do and like doing such as photography or reading.

Obviously, this year I have started a new hobby on making silk thread earrings...and also selling them. Just a small business though.

What else, I am looking forward for so much this year.Lets see how it goes on for me and all. Hopefully 2017 would be another better year and I wish I could at least accomplish my something from my bucket list.

Going to make another bucket list another than travelling bucket list. Lets see I stand in that bucket list.

The Train and An Elephant Story

If you are hailing from the 3rd biggest town in Perak state known as Teluk Intan (Teluk Anson or Teluk Mak Intan, will surely know the story of this Train and the elephant. I remember growing in this town which has a train station which not there anymore. I do remember when the traffic is halted to the traffic when a train pass by. When I was 6 years (987), I went on the train ride up Tapah. Now the nearest train station would be either Tapah or Bidor. I guess it was closed down in 1989. The remains of the station buidling has been renovated and now being used by the driving school. The tracks are missing, but i doubt many are left. I remember the times when I cycled to school (1998) through a short route which crosses the old train tracks which are not jst covered with scrubs and bushes.But now I guess those tracks would be completly dismantled off by people as you can get good money from the metal or iron if you trade in at the junkyard. People tend to believe in science then realistic of pre historic findings. Why these were not applied when research was done. There are many hidden clues within India as i believe all the while. What about the herbal statue of Murugan in Palani that was made by the saint Bogar which contained great medicinal values.
