Bold Life Choices...Never to Look Back
No matter how much we have gone through the toughest life problems or situations in some instances but we'd love to believe we are progressive and modern.
Though our patriarchal mindset still look at a woman of a marriageable age as a commodity which needs to be tied down. I think this happens in all religion who are still sitting inside the tiny box of life.
I was having a conversation with my aunt in US, she was asking about my life and as we were talking, we ended up talking about traditions, beliefs and believes.Tradition are set up to benefit the male species, so why would rock that boat but now the traditions have long gone...but still some people are sticking on to it, beliefs are different, but some superstitious beliefs and traditions need to change though.
Don't let anyone dictate what your life should be, what you do in your life is how you create your life story so others can read, but they do not have the rights to amend it for you unless they give a piece of advice otherwise you're living their lives not yours.
Example my mother, as she remembered her as a young girl. So much fire. Wanting to change the world for women but she never left the web of tradition why the society , the mind that was bounded with traditions and fractions of being a woman.
Tradition are rules that bind individuals to society. Social norms change but we keep holding on to rules that don't fit with changing structure. Following tradition blindly is a major problem and a sign of insecurity.
In a society that finds independent headstrong women too difficult to digest. As a woman when we make a brave decision of life at any given point of the time is like dwelling with our own vulnerabilities and fighting our own demons.
Sometimes it is not easy to break from the norms, bent the rules as we dare,we say but we tend to survive it. By doing this, we woman tend to shape a new self within us which makes us more stronger and bold to face the society.
The age factor that was drawn by the society for woman are so eminently dumbest thing ever done. The lost generations happens to be in this age bounded with complication. But those who tend to bend the rules, did try to take upon the dithering destiny in hand and get on with life, mean to achieve an identity for themselves which would last for a lifetime.
In this world, we women are dwelling against the men to be on top of them. Men still are men with their ego's up high thinking and we women are just their bedtime and punching bags.
When a woman command for respect and with unconventional choices throughout her life as that one story we need to celebrate. When a woman decides to take charge of her very own life, lives it and never to turn back.
Woman should create their own stories, bend the orthodox tradition set by the society, come out of it and go for the freedom we are born for.
