Vegetarian truth

Being Vegetarian for a Religious aspect and not for a personal target.

Vegetarian is observed in our Hindu religion often and lifetime in religious purpose. I do remember the days when my aunts ,my grandmother and mother would observe vegetarian for some religious prayers and they stick on to it doesn't matter whatever they will be so strict and observe it for a month or 48 days or longer by controlling their words, minds, souls and of course food.

After all those decades now, being vegetarian has become a trend in one's lifestyle. They would want to be vegetarian just to lose their weight.

Ok, I understand you have a target to achieve but why during a religious cause when you have all other days to select. And they would talk high saying," I am just being vegetarian because everyone at home are observing for Navarathiri ( one of the religious event) so I thought I could lose some weight".

Being vegetarian on a good cause for Hindu's during these days is to get connected to God and the Universe and it's not to lose weight. Why don't these people have a some other day to lose their weight.

Being vegetarian is being pure to yourself when you want to interact or get connected with god.Don't misuse the VEGETARIAN concept observed for a religious cause into losing weight, you are wrong, you will be eating more and gaining more rather than losing more.
