Inception vs Thillalangkadi - 30/07/2010

Inception was a great movie ever for this year.
I wanted to go for the movie earlier but no partner.
Suddenly Puppima planned for a movie and asked me to join.

We went for a Saturday evening show.
The movie starts by connecting to a dream within a dream.
It’s pretty confusing though!

The movie itself is a dream in a dream.
It reminded me of Ocean’s 11 and Italian Job similarity.
But in this it’s all about dream . The dream concept allows the director to defy the laws of gravity, space, and time without the viewer having to suspend disbelief whenever another grand scene appears on the screen.
There very interesting scenes and well verse graphic designs that really amuses such as the moving stairs that goes in a loop, mazes of buildings extending horizontal, stairs that goes up and down but never comes to an end, mirror reflections that stretches to infinite distance.
Definitely not watchable on DVD’s.
Every concept of the movie can be appreciated for the hard work and the creativity.

A movie to reality , that’s the interesting part of it.
Indeed, so many messages are crammed into the movie that viewers will hardly notice the lengthy two and a half hours it takes to unravel the substantial plot, as they stay glued to their seats in white-knuckled puzzlement and anticipation. The action picks up a lot faster in the final sequence that takes the characters to five levels of dreams, the last one transporting the viewer back to the opening sequence.
This seems an oversight for a film that takes great pains to detail the inception concept from the start and how the actors enter the various stages of the dream, elucidating clearly on the architectural and chemical ingredients needed in every phase.

Nevertheless, the film comes out as an edifying take on the dangers of tinkering with someone else’s mind. One person’s dream, after all, can be another person’s nightmare. Each one is shaped by different experiences and circumstances, and it does take a lot of inner strength to deal with the new and unknown.

But does it classify are we also dreaming?
Are we in our dreams ?
Can be true also , if we get up one day we might realize it.

The ending of the movie was interesting too.As Leonardo returns home , the totem does not stop spinning.
It was explained in the movie if the totem keeps on spinning it means your still in the dream. So was he still in his dream and not back in his reality.

There is a question mark for us to think now...!!!!

I really enjoyed it and went twice..!!

Later in night ,  went for a stupid tamil movie and regretted it for the whole night.
But Inception was still fresh in my mind!
